Thirty-five minutes of fractured and reconstructed songs. More electronic and beat-driven than my previous recordings, but almost entirely based on "real" recordings of either music or incidental sounds. I decided to work as intuitively and undogmatic as possible and try not to worry at all about what I should or shouldn't be doing, and I feel really good about the results. The music is darker and denser than No True Body, but I don't really feel darker. On the contrary, I would say. Perhaps it is just easier to access horrible feelings when you are generally happy and not feeling too vulnerable. I am proud of where the project has gone, even if it is only another step. To use a really worn-out expression, I think the goal of all my recordings is to be as authentic to myself as I possibly can. I try to continually work to get it to "sound the way it feels." In any case, I am going to stop writing about it, now, before I reach the point where I have to punch myself in the mouth, in order to be quiet.

I do recommend that you give it a listen, if you are interested in my experiments. Also that you buy the download, if you enjoy it enough - support the arts, as it were! I priced the record at a crisis-friendly 4€, for a download of any sound quality you desire, and the music is so abstract and etherial that it definitely sounds better when "projected" at a proper volume and in decent quality.

Also, if you buy my record and you play it loud enough while falling asleep, it might aid you in your own experiments with astral projection. Not promising anything, just sayin' it might.
