I'm Constantly Amazed By You - The Celine Dion Song Fic Phenomenon
Did you know that there are 8 fics on Gossamer bearing the title "My Heart Will Go On"? EIGHT! I kid you not.
I was telling amyhit in another thread that I was almost sure there was a Celine Dion songfic series. I had done an initial keyword search without success. Then I thought of doing a title search, so I type "Celine" and "Dion" in Gossamer and yep, sure enough, I found THEM. In all their outrageous crackey glory.
Behold "THE DION FILES" - 15 of them by one Jeanine Ackerson. Trust me, your life will never be the same again after you've read Mulder's inner monologue while listening to "All By Myself." (not the Gossamer link cos they don't allow linkage, but it's all over there.)
There is also "THE CELINE SERIES" by CC Decker, which is more hardcore, NC-17 stuff. And all I can say to this is "OH JESUS, FOX!"
You know that numb, wide eyed, fascinated horror you experience when you find yourself driving by a car crash? I'm feeling it right now.
