Sorry, quick question about rule seven. If we spork a badfic, and, like, idk, five days later, they update and it's SO BAD we have to spork... does that fall outside the rule?

If it's a different fic, it's fair game. If it's a new chapter of the same fic, it falls under Rule 7.
