[There's a small child wandering the halls. He looks new... and young... maybe six or seven. Either way, he'd examining the walls closely and keeping close to them.]
[Gene was out collecting books and paper for his notes. He sees the child, kneels down and the first thought that came to his head was of his daughter. He's mildly shocked and pretty speechless.]
Well... It's true I don't know where I am... but since who ever brought me here didn't lock the room I was in and I wasn't bound I'd say I was meant to leave the room- meaning there are probably more people outside the room right? So you probably can't tell me my exact location-and if you could that'd be kinda suspicious.
[He stood up slowly and figured out real fast that this kid wasn't like any other kid. He's just a little too smart to be an average 7 year old.]
I'm not entirely sure of the exact location myself. If that were the case, I would tell you and that would implicate me as the one that had done the kidnapping. Yeah, I know the trap. I've faced it before. Either way, it's a no win situation. So, for the time being, it's better to gain as much knowledge as possible and move forward from there. Otherwise, we'll just be spinning our wheels with a fruitless effort.
Nope. I haven't been outside since I got here. I'm almost afraid to find what's out there. Knowing my luck, something would gobble me up and spit out my bones. I'm not entirely liking this place either.
A-are you lost?

It's just...you're a whole lot more mature than the average seven year old. Whoa, talk about a grievous upset.

Regardless, I'm still seven. ['teen' he privately thinks.]
