*6th Glory* Putting away the thoughts of the past. [In Person-Audio through the hotel intercomm]

Dec 29, 2011 23:17

[Varon returned back to the hotel after being out and about most of the day. He spent a good part of his afternoon shopping or browsing, then spent the evening relaxing and watching people go by. On a personal level it was nice to have a nice quiet time but on a more intrinsic level Varon was starting to feel bored.

He let out a yawn as he turned the page of a magazine in the hotel lobby. He barely understood Japanese much less what all this stuff was but he did manage to know enough to understand what the foodstuffs he purchased for his trips. He had a duffel bag full of instant noodles and spices. Not only was it lightweight, it was easy to pack and it had a long shelf life. He often purchased this stuff while he was on the road considering the price was pretty cheap and he could be often buy them by the box.]

Domo arigato.

[He said as one of the serving girls brought his drink of Coke and cherries with extra cherries. His Japanese was so bad that it caused the girl to blush and giggle...if she could express such emotions with her blank face. To a National, his accidental butchering of the language would probably cause them to cover their ears.

He hated the silence, to be honest. Everything was simply terrible to him waiting just to see what would happen next if anything at all. So far his days have been pretty dull since his arrival.]

Damn, I need a hobby.

[He stretched and groaned from his tightened muscles as he arched his back. Again, no one paid much attention. Now it was time to stir things up and jumped up on the counter.]

OY!

[He picks up the intercom and begins speaking.]

Anyone out there as bored as me? This is your captain speaking. Please fasten your seat belts, cuz this ride's gonna get really bumpy!

[He turns on his MP3 player and blares it through the intercom system.]
