I can answer that. With the information that I have gather from various other sources it seems that we are logically in some place known simply as the manor.
[She turned the page over, her eyes still looking down at the book.]
This isn't a normal kidnapping, far from it in fact. it's...quite hard to explain even for me.

Over 20 people at least, though the amount of rooms shows that there can be room for many more to come, so the numbers might keep rising.

It's true that this author is taking us as some kind of hostages, there is no sign of ever giving a random or even showing any signs of being harmful. Unless of course you count the various so called 'plots' we get involved in every now and again.

Though unlike most kidnapper, we have pretty much free range and she never really makes herself known to us, which is rather odd considering she is kidnapping people from their homes and from very important things.
