Basically, yes. I'd like to think that this is a signal that the worst is over, but I don't think I'm going to drop my guard until Halloween itself is over.

I'd say that's a good idea. Might be best to have a support network in place for when the worst does hit. [Giving both of them a second curious glance over. He may or may not be insinuating anything there.]
Actually, since I'm sure you must both be exhausted [Not that Light would know~, he's feeling quite well rested] I'll make this short. Do you have a spare set of clothes I might be able to borrow for the week? The Author seems to have taken some creative liberty with my closet.
