Particularly since there's not many people he'd actually, currently, have any interest in going certain directions, and not very many that he'd be comfortable with doing the "pass out on" at the moment, and the person that's currently flopped out on him and cuddled up RATHER closely is the wrong gender for one of them, wrong build for the other that's currently in the manor, and while probably closer to a certain other one... that certain other one also hasn't been in the Manor for a good month or two now.]

Mmm. Considering that Halloween proper is next week, we should probably take as much advantage as we can of the lull in things... the Author's timing is funny, but she doesn't miss a holiday.
