[So. Dean had had pretty much a shitty couple of weeks. and now? his mom was angry and disappointed in him. plus side? This plot had monsters. that meant he could deal with all his hurts (the main one being this most recent frigging development with his mom) in the best way he knew how ( Read more... )

[There's probably part of the conversation audible from around the corner down a hallway that Dean'd passed, although the voice wouldn't be familiar - or even quite human sounding; low, slightly gravelly.]

-same box of a realm we've been in, the scenery's just changed.

[Whatever it was drops off - mostly because Raidou spotted the blood trail and is following, the large humanoid-dragon demon following behind, trident propped on one shoulder lazily.]

[Dean, you have a summoner hurrying over and looking worried - when he'd seen you with the Gyarados, you didn't seem like someone that'd be easy to maul this badly.] What happened?

[He eyes up the demon suspiciously, but it seems to be unready to attack, so he goes back to trying to get back to his room. which he fails, and slides down the hallway wall, leaving a bloody smear.] Stay back, and don't touch the blood. At all.

Been hunting. Monsters outside. [and this was probably counted as intentional, as he'd not really cared about moving out of the way.] ...just a scratch. [a small smirk, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes.]

[He does move to try to help Dean stand - although the warning sounds like it's there for a reason, stopping him just short; still, at the "just a scratch", there is a "...bull. Shit." Look shot at Dean. And then a glance to the demon.] Belial? [And with that aside done, he's turning his attention back to Dean.]

Did you run into something a bit too large, or just overdo it?

[Of course, while he's speaking, Belial is - doing a very short spellcast. Have a Diarahan, Dean! aka the healing equivalent of a beneficial targeted nuke/"what injuries?".]

[As his injuries heal, he feels... more than a little pissed off. It's more displaced than actually angry at him, but he has an issue with magic, even if he's aware that it works differently for other worlds. He stands]

...What the hell is wrong with you? You don't just cast spells on peopla, and sure as hell not without permission.

[And well... it means that he can go hunt longer. which he'll be making his way back that way if he can get past Raidou without getting his blood on him.]

If I'd asked, would you've sat still for it? [You were bleeding all over and could barely stand. :| Also at this point Belial's probably more between Dean and the door than Raidou, although he hasn't moved from standing next to Dean.] Is the blood trail dangerous to someone that wouldn't know what they were dealing with?

[He nods] Yeah. Here's a great idea. You stay here and warn people not to touch it, or clean it, and I'll go do my thing.

[............Seriously. Seriously.]

[Belial, at least, is vaguely amused, and there's a snap of the demon's fingers as the blood within view that isn't actually on Dean himself burns up in a few puffs of flame; small scorchmarks on ground = better than toxic blood.]

Are you ... going back out again?

...That's what it looks like, doesn't it? Not that it's any of your business the hell I do anyway.

[All he needs now is Dahn to herd and he'll be booked for the next decade.]

Well, if you're going to come back in bleeding all over again, then it would be something that would harm others. Besides, there has to be a better way to handle things.

[then he'll just stay outside and bleed. that's frigging fine by him.

But he pauses in making his way for the door, and raises an amused eyebrow. (even if he's not really amused, but he's good at making people think what he wants about him)] ...Who said I was handling anything? I just like the hunt. [At least the and bit was true? He really did like to hunt. Unfortunately, it was a coping mechanism too, but he'd never admit that]

[This is Raidou not buying it.] So you've somehow survived this long while making a habit of going out and getting yourself pummeled to a bleeding wreck repeatedly.

[He smirks] It's a gift.

[and that's him carrying on walking now.]

[Raidou sighs and goes to follow; there's a low chuckle from Belial before the demon disappears in a flash of green light, Raidou holding up a couple small tubes - shortly after being replaced by the Inugami dog-spirit floating along behind.]

I could use the practice.

[This guy? kinda pissing him off. again with the who the hell did he think he was?

this is dean stalking off. Ugh, maybe he could find his sword again.]

If I'm going to possibly have to clean up the blood trails again, I may as well try to minimize how much there is. Besides, sparring with dummies only goes so far for practice.

[Nope. Not peeling off.]

[In the dark outside, he's keeping his eyes open for his sword, which, when in the area, he can see in much the same place where he had embedded it in the ground in his frustration. He run an eye over the blade.

Yep, he'd have to find some way to sharpen that later.

Ah well.

he swung the sworrd in an arc in his hand, letting it settle into a combat stance. A slouch with weapons? Nope. that much would be clear.

Despite the quiet around them, he could smell it lying in wait.]

All right, come on you fugly bastard; I know you're here. Come on!
