[The lens is very wet and therefore the view is blurry, but that doesn't matter as it's showing nothing but the rainy forest. Maybe the Author thought that people would stay inside when it's raining, but Ryuutaro wasn't staying in his room. Not when he was feeling as miserable as he did. [Gokudera had mostly been holed up in his room just blaring Sinatra after the little incident between the two. He had gotten most of his thoughts sorted out. He was still afraid of actually encountering Ryuutaro again, though. He lost his trust that Ryuutaro would ask any more questions, but he had actually sorted through enough of his own mental distress to pick up on his friend's ( ... )

[For a long time Ryuutaro didn't see it at all. He was busy trying to get some new moves done, accomplish anything, but he didn't succeed. He just was too distracted, too miserable to build a real connection with his bey. Training needed concentration. Sure, he could hide in Beyblading, but it wasn't enough, wouldn't ever be enough.
Ryuutaro was a patient person, but after a while he finally stopped. It was no use. He was soaked through and through, but didn't feel like going inside.
Picking his bey up the boy made an unhappy noise, wondering what to do now.

Even Ryuutaro had his insecurities. No matter how well he might hide them - even from himself- he was just a little boy after all. Right now everything was just running through his head again and again and for once he didn't have the self-control to stop it.

Which was about when he turned around to see the umbrella that he was sure hadn't been there before. The boy blinked, momentarily confused, and moved closer. He was wet anyway, though not getting even wetter seemed nice. ( ... )
