[ah, if this were two years ago he may have considered engaging her in a fight, but after two years in a jar, he wasn't as fit as he once was, and relied heavily on his illusions as opposed to physical combat. Not that he couldn't fight in hand-to-hand combat, but he needed to channel the correct path... which would require his eye, which the Author has oh-so-conveniently not allowed him to keep this plot...]
