[This scenario is painfully close to her nightmares. Whenever memories of being tied to a bed, trapped in a foreign land and never being able to run fast enough bubbled up unbidden, Lenalee had comforted herself with the knowledge that she had grown past that. She was more powerful now, and with friends that jail had become her home.]
[But here she is again, trapped in an unfamiliar world, and suddenly being jailed makes the comparison too stark to miss. Once again she is powerless to escape. Nothing has changed.]
I'm sure... it won't last long.
[Nice's screaming at least serves as a distraction against her own clammy sense of claustrophobia. But Lenalee is not at all confident that this is something they can simply wait out.]

[Though being imprisoned like this almost makes her wish she was someone else. It wasn't quite as bad when there was at least someone else in the cell with her.]

Perhaps there is a way to sneak out.
[She picks at her shoe, wishing that it was a crimson boot that would let her kick down walls. Even without the prison, having her Innocence sealed feels wrong. It is a violation she won't be forgiving the Author for any time soon.]
Do you know how long they plan to keep you in there? It might be easier with two.
[Though one is certainly easier to have slip away without being noticed.]
