I was wonderin' if any of you folks out there been feelin' a whole lot better this week than lately. I know I have, though I can't really explain it as nothin' seems to have changed. I can't quite explain why I was mopin' about in the first place. Seein' as there's no reason for this Sheriff to be bluer than the moon on a summer's night, I reckon I'd best get out and start doin' somethin'. Doesn't do anyone any good to sit around sippin' cactus juice all day.
For those who don't know me, the name's Jake Marshall. You might say I'm the Law where I come from and there ain't nothin' wrong about that. If you've done somethin' wrong, you can be sure I'll find you. You see, I'm happy as a hog in the mud when it comes to doin' my job and I don't see any reason to stop.
