[The feed begins with an all too familiar crackling. Pyramid Head's room wasn't the most inviting of places. Let alone the most ideal place to keep a small child in, yet for some reason the Author deemed him capable of taking care of a baby. It was probably why it was crying. His approach was slow as ever examining the infant. It was a healthy male ( Read more... )

[Despite Pyramid Head's room being most uninviting... the young Hayato thought it was simply some haunted house gag. Of COURSE he was brave enough to go into some silly haunted house! He was a big kid now! That screaming noise didn't scare him!

So the little boy wanders in, clutching his little toy car a bit tighter then a big boy who wasn't afraid probably should be. So distracted and terrified of his surroundings he unexpectedly bumps into something and lets out a little squeak.

He steps back and looks up at the giant...

...oh god what is that?]

[When he felt the small Dera-type-child bump into the back of his legs he looked down. The Baby perfectly safe in his strangely paternal grasp.

Pyramid Head never got guests, so this was a first. An innocent shouldn't have been in such a warped abode as his. Keeping the baby balanced in one arm his newly freed one gently pressed his palm to Dera's upper back, guiding him from the room.

He didn't shunt the boy away however. Once outside he let the door swing shut, silencing the rusted scraping of the fans overhead. Pyramid Head then looked at the boy, silently asking what he wanted.]

[And of course Hayato lets himself be guided out of the room, looking over his shoulder at the big... thingy thing...

Once out of the room he stares a bit more a the big man with the boat-helmet thing on his head, then holds up his little toy car.]

The baby's crying, so he can borrow it. I'm a big kid now, so I don't need it as much! But only borrowing it! The nice piano lady gave it to me for my birthday! Okay?

[Silently he takes the car and waves it in front of the baby in his arms. The crying starts to die down and is replaced with the incoherent burbling babies are so adept at. Giving the baby the car to grab and gum at he looks back to Dera, and gives him a nod complete with a short head pat. It was the best way he could say thanks. Though he'd probably need to get the infant's drool from the car afterwards.]
