[The happy voice is comforting for Lana. Her features soften at his voice.]

Kio? Hi. Um. Where am I?

[Kio scratches his head looking a little embarrassed]

Uh...we haven't exactly figured that out yet.

[Weak laugh]

But at least it's cozy!

[Lana really needed to loosen up. That laugh was good for her, as loosen up is what she did almost instantly after hearing it.]

I have no idea what's goin' on, there's a whole bunch of us jus' found ourselves here without really knowin' how we got here or where we are...

Unless this is a very elaborate trick an' I'm on some TV show where I'm bein' set up...

[Lana laughed a bit at that last part. It might have been because such thoughts crossed her mind too.] I know what you mean. Have you checked the place out yet --met anyone in person?

[The camera jostles quite a bit before it steadies on Sebastian's politely smiling face. He's still getting used to what he considers to be the world's smallest typewriter/TV combo.]

I haven't exactly seen anyone in person yet. Is any of this... real?

I've found no evidence to suggest it isn't. My name is Sebastian, and I've taken it upon myself to serve as butler until the real staff arrives, or we are otherwise informed of the situation by our host. [He says "host" instead of "captor," because it's not very polite to say something like that to a lady. It wouldn't do to upset her unnecessarily, not when he hasn't yet understood the situation himself.] Please let me know if you need anything.

[Lana feels a slight warmth in his presence, but she still won't let her guard down. Not that easily.]
