[The feed comes on to an irritated looking Mukuro (granted it would be difficult to tell for one who doesn't know him well, as he is ALWAYS smiling), sitting rather high up on the wooden structures of the manor. He's been overlooking to see the progress of the various search groups- or lack there of- and he is not pleased. How is he supposed to ( Read more... )

A-ah sorry! [she bows quickly at the feed]

Um-Um I'll make Kaito look. He's good at finding things.

Good. I will give you the location and who he will be working with as soon as I can figure out the areas already searched. He will report back to me when finished with his findings, if any.

I think Kaito works better on his own, really. Maybe, if he worked with Saguru that'd be okay but he doesn't really trust people that easily.

If he wishes to help, then he'll be doing it on a team, this is not open for debate. I have my reasons for running it this way, and if he's not willing to comply then he will not be a part of the operation. It's as simple as that.

...Um.. Okay but.. if someone with red hair and green eyes offers, please don't put him in the same group as Kaito.

[Oh? Well that was certainly interesting. A grudge between the two perhaps? He's going to have to investigate this further.]

That can be arranged. May I ask why, though?

Well, that's the guy that hurt me... he wanted to know more about Kaito but he wouldn't believe me when I told him he was just my stupid best friend. I don't want to know why he wanted to meet Kaito- it couldn't have been for anything good.

[Oh what an interesting turn of events. How easily this one just seemed to vomit valuable personal information like a fountain.]

I see, if I see him I'll try to have a word with the fellow. Perhaps I can be of some assistance.

[Not for your sake of course. No, he's a nosy thing... and those injuries certainly were interesting. Whatever caused them was VERY relevant to his interests...

Unfortunately for Mukuro a "spiky haired blue eyed magician" is a description that also fits him as well...]

[Oh look, someone else wanting to play leader. Except this one's not even hiding his intention to use others to do his bidding. Think awfully high of himself, doesn't he? Near's seen how this man tries to act polite and civil on the feeds, yet apparently when things don't go his way, he resorts to throwing temper tantrums like any other brat.

Near doesn't like you already, Mukuro. You're just a Yagami-clone.]

And what are those reasons?

[This man's presenting himself in such a bold manner. He probably thinks he's worthy competition, and Near's not wasting the chance to reveal in public just how incompetent he really is.]

[Oh and what is... this? Quite a... bold little thing to do. Well, Mukuro clearly had the upper hand in the debate. He didn't care in the least.]

To ensure no one tries to undermine the operation of course. Now are you willing to cooperate, or do you intend to question me about my methods and waste valuable time?

Both. I cannot work with you unless I can trust you.

You believe working in teams can prevent corruption of the operation as opposed to working individually?

[It's a statement, but he adds the question mark for irony's sake.]

And if you do not trust me, I have no reason to work with you. As stated, yes that is why I am going to set up teams. Now I've got quite a lot of work to do, and don't have time to be throwing about useless repetition with you.

Do we have a deal or not?

What bothers me is this:

[Yes, he completely ignored everything you just said and is continuing his own train of thought. All Near wanted was a confirmation. Everything else recycled.]

"To ensure no one tries to undermine the operation of course." What an interesting thing to say.

Although you have failed to consider the possibility of teams working as units to further their own goals, let's just assume for argument's sake that teamwork does prevent corruption.

That would mean that you, the organizer and only one who will not be working in a group, will by default be the only one capable of posing the threat of "[undermining] the operation."

Given what I've just said, do you still think the plan seems trustworthy or even sound enough for me or anyone for that matter to take part in?
