I'm a forensic anthropologist - I examine the bodies of the dead and identify the cause of death

[Annoyed] Lady, I'm a detective, I'm well aware of what a forensic anthropologist does.

[She frowns]

Well I didn't know what you do for a living

And now you do. Guess you need filling in, huh?

First thing, you're not amongst friends. Some people here are going to welcome you. Some are not. I wouldn't keep introducing myself as FBI. I would think that they taught you that. Second, anything logical, anything rational, anything scientific, all the rules that make things make sense forget about for a second because this place and those facts don't mix well. Oil and water. Third, there is no way out yet. We have tried everything. We've been here for weeks. So your suggestions are not going to do any good, keep them to yourself.

Can you accept all that?

[Oh boy..Bones just looks at Mello, not quite believing what he said]

Okay, first of all, I never said I was part of the FBI, only that I work with them. Secondly, scientific facts still stand, regardless of where you are or whatever's happening in the environment around you. And thirdly - there has to be a way out, otherwise how did we get in? People don't just magically appear in new places, there's always a reason.

[Cue in sarcastic hand gestures towards the last sentence. Feeling herself getting wound up, she turns on her heel and begins walking away from Mello - she has no idea where she's going, but she knows she has to investigate exactly why they can't leave. Looking over her shoulder, she addresses Mello again]

I'm going to find out why we can't leave, there has to be something you haven't checked.

[She stops in her tracks as she listens to what Mello says. When he finishes, she can't help but laugh a little, turning back to him]
