{16} Looking for Giselle [In Person]

Apr 18, 2011 15:56

[Willy's top hat is not on his head, his jacket is ripped and the smoke from the collision causes him to cough. His first thought is to find Giselle. Her safety came to mind and he had to find her. He pushed the desk away from his side and pushed through the rubble. He removed his jacket for easier movement so it wouldn't get caught on any sharp ( Read more... )

[When the crash happened, Giselle didn't see it coming and ended up hurting herself pretty badly and blacking out. So right now she was buried under a pile of rubble, her arm sticking out and out cold.]

[He sees her hand from the smoke and the dust from the ventilation shafts. Sparks showering in the distance he rushes to her, braving the possibility that something far worse could have happened. His heart nearly stops at the thought that this could probably be the end of her.

Choking back the pain of loss, he finds his strength and begins to move the rubble aside, tossing everything he could away from her body.]

Giselle!

[Not realizing just how strong he was, he manages to clear her from the debris and lifts her up.]

Stay with me. Please, stay with me.

[He manages to find another way through that was less hazardous but no less smokey. Once outside, he lays her down and uses his removed jacket to cover her up.]

No, no...please be okay.

[His face contorts in pain. He feels lost now and very upset that she got hurt. His hand touches her face, brushing aside her hair to see her closed eyes as tears threatened to burn their way through.]

[Giselle didn't move once, although her eyes would flutter every so often there was no other signs of movement to be seen for the meantime. She had hit her head hard and so it would take a good hour or so to gain concious, but for now she stayed sleeping and breathing with one some cuts and bruises, some of which were bleeding.]

[Collecting his thoughts, he began to work. He had to stay strong and finding those wounds along with binding them required focus. He had to find something to use as a salve ( ... )

[Giselle's, eye fluttered ever so slightly. She had started to regain conciousness after the crash. A time it had taken hours for her to do before she slowly sat up, yawned and looked around at her new surroundings, a pain that she never had before shooting through her as she flinched ever so slightly.]

Oh my, what happened here?

We crashed here.

[He's tending the fire that he made to keep them both warm and to add light. His voice sounded a bit on the serious side meaning that he switched from the carefree candy maker to the explorer/survivor he was when he net the Oompa Loompas.

He does smile which is the only marked certainty that he hasn't gone completely over the edge and his excitement returns when he finally notices that Giselle is awake.]

Oh!

[He would move to hug her but he's not sure if the injuries she sustained were severe.]

You're awake! Oh good, I was beginning to wonder if you had a concussion. Let me see your eyes.

[He leans forward to look for dilation.]

Oh my, then are we stuck here?

[Well that seemed like a stupid question once you remember they were still part of the story, but right now Giselle had completely forgotten about that, instead she was curious and worried about the new planet.]

It's so far away from home.

[Her eyes appeared to be normal, no dilation or anything as she looks curiously at him.]

May I ask what it is you're doing?

I'm checking for a concussion...which you don't seem to have. Oh, I also bandaged your wounds...which wasn't so bad.

[He's not going to admit that he was terribly worried just yet. He was still sorting himself out as to why he was so worried in the first place. He never felt that way before which really put him in a strange frame of mind that he wasn't used to.]

Wounds?

[She looks down at herself, noticing all the bandages she seemed to have on her person. Surprised at that for a moment at the sheer amount she appeared to have, she must of her herself pretty well.]

Oh my. I'll be fine though right?

[She smiles, thankfully the pain wasn't as bad for the meantime, but it was still there.]

Uh huh!

[Her optimism is contageous and he smiles brightly.]

You're going to be just fine. Oh! I found us some food too. I thought you could use it to regain your strength. They're a berry of some sort. I don't know what to call them...

[Just staring at the berries, not even she could figure out what exactly they were called... they must be a new kind of berry that she isn't sure about.]

Do we know if it's poisonous or not? There is properly some way of being able to tell.

I tried them. They're fine.

[What he's not saying is that the ones he did try that were poisonous made him hallucinate Santa Clause.]

That's wonderful. Do you think we can make anything from them?

[But Santa is real! He just doesn't live on Earth =D]

Well, I'm thinking that they have a nice texture for a jam and then there's the possibility that they could also go well as a syrup. Ooh, possibly a candy too.

There's only just one small technicality...we don't have jars and we don't have a stove to use or an oven to make the jars with. That could take a while just to build one that works.

Oh... So we just eat them like they are. Maybe we could save some for later.

[Giselle knew how to make small jars, since she did live by herself back where she was from, but he was right, there was no way they could make any, so best to save for later.]

Oh yes.

[Without a means to bake the clay, it would only be sloppy at best.]

I know where to find them. Also there are other around that are doing some hunting and fishing which is helpful. When you are strong enough, we should head to one of the other camps.
