[It was only day 2 of the plot, and already Elphaba was starting to feel worse for wear. To add to that, when she'd checked her blackberry messages that morning, she'd also noticed that John Preston's name had been taken off the contacts list. Although she already knew what that meant, she still made herself get out of bed, get dressed, and go to his room.
Sure enough; his name plaque. like Sheldon's, had disappeared, and the room was locked. Of course she'd miss him; he'd been a good friend to her. But, she was glad he got to go home to his kids.
