[Gokudera was pretty much wandering around trying to find ways to entertain himself, when he saw someone doing something in the parlor. He casually strides in, slouched over with his hands in his pockets and a cigarette in his mouth.

Ah... it was that odd.... nice guy... setting something up....]

[Not that it was any of his business. Honestly he was half expecting to get shooed away for that very reason]

[Gene looks up from his notes and smiles.]

Oh, this is for a school that we're trying to set up. You're welcome to give any input. We could use a student's feedback for this.

S-school?! Why the hell would you want to start up that crap?!

[Gene.... did you really expect a kid to embrace a school system with open arms?]

We don't need one! That's my input!

[Gene chuckles and nods.]

Okay, that makes sense. But still, there should be one in place to educate everyone and not just school age people. You see, it's something that would keep us active and less bored...of course the subjects taught are going to do that anyway but it would be good to know who's who in the manor without resorting to guessing, right?

School is boring. I'm plenty fine entertaining myself without it.

I missed four years of school, and when I came back I still knew more then the damn teacher. Besides, people are annoying, I don't want to meet them.

[Operation 'try to talk this guy out of doing this' is a GO! Granted Hayato would probably just skip anyways... still he would rather not have people riding his ass about it...]

Then I have a mission for you. I could always use the help with a tutor for those that can't make it to class because of injury or because of age. In fact, there's one guy that signed up while this was still an idea and he could really use the help. He's smart in his own way but he's not learned. You have the right kind of personality that fits this.

[Gene pulls out a sheet that looks like a roster.]

Captain Jack Sparrow. Have you heard of him?

[Why didn't Hayato see this coming?! It was only a matter of time until someone started ordering him around telling him to do things! He didn't even owe the guy anything! Where did he get off asking for favors?!

[Gene simply shrugs and offers up no fight since the project is still new and it hasn't gotten off the ground yet. Tucking the paper back into the file, Gene didn't seem all that bothered with the rejection. After all, he was an accountant and not a publicist so his words would come out strange in retaliation.]

[He goes back to his cork board and pins up a roster without really seeming too upset about it.]

[Gokudera growls a bit. 'sorry he felt that way?!' What the fuck was that supposed to mean?! The teen slouched over defensively, feeling suddenly awkward]

[Sure, Hayato had helped tutor the Tenth... and by default the baseball idiot and 'Lawnhead', but that was for the Tenth's enifit...

Still he couldn't shake the feeling he was going to get stuck going to the school and becoming the group tutor again...]

Sounds like you were living a very hard life. I'm not saying you have to. I just thought you were the best person for the job. It's okay. I said I'll find someone else.
