[Enjoying being back at 'home', Nice had ventured outside, and is currently lying under what she had affectionately nicknamed the 'firework tree'. Watching the videos on the network of people freaking out about being body swapped, Nice was almost sad that she hadn't been involved - hell, if she'd swapped with a guy, she'd have copied Shiki in a heart beat (There were some things one just has to know..)
Once her message to John had been sent, she puts her blackberry down, and rests her head back against the trunk, content to sit and watch the speckles of sunlight through the new leave flutter and reappear in the breeze. So, it wasn't Chicago, or New York; but moments like this made her almost happy she'd been brought to the Manor.
That got her thinking; why would the Author bring her here, of all people? There were so many others from history that she could play around with, so why grab a street dwelling city kid who's name would undoubtedly be lost in the void of time? Not that she minded or cared - if this Author chick wanted to play, Nice was game - hell, she'd met some pretty interesting people in her time here...though she still missed her friends like burning, in a way it was nice to be away from the usual, repetitive chaos that her life in the city had become.
With these thoughts in mind, she lets her eye close, drifting into a light, half-sleep...]
