Snark 016: Snape [In Person]

Feb 28, 2011 14:39

[Snape's standing near one of the raptor pens.  Despite the warm weather he's still wearing his robes.  He stands with his hands jammed into his trouser pockets, scowling down at the raptors in the pits.]

Like little, stupid dragons.  What unfortunate beasts.

[He steps closer to the barrier.]

I wonder where they're from.

Technically they're prehistoric reptiles. [Wallace however is wearing just a plain blue shirt and jeans, nothing too fancy.]

So close but no cigar, guy.

[He turns to Wallace.]

Ah, yes, the thing Muggles call them. Prehistoric.

[He glances back at the raptors. He's still less than impressed.]

[He pauses.]

Uh, no... They aren't dragons. Blackie or whatever everyone's calling her is a dragon. These things are Dinosaurs.

Yes, I've seen the dragon. No species I recognize, but that doesn't mean anything.

[He's heard a little about dinosaurs, but their similarity to dragons makes him think that they might be early progenitors that died out, or went into hiding somehow.]
