Feb 14, 2011 17:57

[When the feed comes on, it shows Elphaba trying to look calm and collected, although those who are observant may notice water around her in the background]

Some help would be appreciated - it doesn't look like it's going to rain or anything, so it's not really urgent, but, I'd quite like to be back on solid ground again

[Yep. She woke up on a ( Read more... )

[John looks perplexed.]

Can...can you not swim?

[Take that as you will]

But...but the human body is 70% water....that's not feasible.

[This face, forever; -___-;;]

[Not wanting to argue the point with him, Elphaba touches her finger tip to the surface of the water, enough to 'break' the skin. Wincing subtly, she then holds it to the camera]

I suppose I'm not feasible then.

[John frowns...wut?]

I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that okay? I could try and come find you?

If you can figure out how to get this thing back to shore, then by all means, be my guest

[She sounds annoyed, but not at him - at the Author, for putting her on a freaking boat of all places]

[John arrives and what does he find on the dock? A ROPE THATS WHAT!]

Do you think you can catch?

[Smirking, Elphaba shrugs]

That all depends on whether or not you can throw, doesn't it?

[Either way, she's holding her arms out, ready to catch said rope]

[John smiles, shaking his head and tosses the rope deftly.]

Are you always so...sooo....amusing?

[Tying the rope around one end of the gondola, Elphaba smiles as she does so]

I try, I try

I'm sure you do. You might want to sit down if you don't want to fall in.

[He smirks and carefully begins to pull the gondola to the shore.]

[She rolls her eyes, albeit playfully, as she does as she's told. When the boat eventually bumped into the stone trim of the river, Elphaba gets to her feet carefully, and climbs out even more so]

I think this is the point where I thank you

[John takes her by the hand to help her out of the boat.]

What were you doing out there if you are allergic to water? Seems a bit counter productive to me.

[She takes a few more steps away from the edge, as if being overly cautious, and brings her hand back to her side]

I don't know, I just woke up on the boat. I may be curious about a lot of things, but I'm not suicidal

The Author seems to like putting us in danger and just sitting back to watch the outcome

She sounds like a bad person overall. Hmmm so it would kill you to touch water? Not that I'm going to try, I'm just curious. You're a fascinating individual.

[She looks thoughtful for a moment]

Not...bad, I don't think. She's very needy, and likes attention and power. If something needs doing or someone believes they need to be noticed, sometimes, the only way to do that is to be the bad guy

[Shuddering at the thought]

It would only kill me if I completely submerged myself in it. I suppose, it's the equivalent of very strong corrosive acid to a normal human. The more you splash someone with it, the more likely they are to die.
