Ninth entry: Storm

Jul 10, 2010 20:24

[Having 'known' about the storm a little way before everyone else, Elizabeth had already packed few important items. However, as she was about to leave, when Mello's video message flickered onto her blackberry, the signal poor and the quality low. However, his message was clear in itself.
Tucking the little black device into a handy pocket on her dress, she unzips her tent, and is more than a little shocked at what she sees; the beach is littered with destroyed tents, palm branches and leaves, and just general debris. Trying to remember the way to the onsen, she struggles to stay up right at the weather continues to worsen.
For the first time since they arrived on the beach, she was glad to not be in her usual clothes, as one of her dresses would have been utter hell to drag through the now rather chaotic jungle path. Thankfully, after what seemed like an eternity, the Onsen loomed into view]
