[Jack had the bright idea that Iroh would want in on this cultural exchange to spike not only the punch, and the eggnog, which only half of the batch wasn't supposed to be spiked, Jack wants to try to spike everything with rum to make it taste better

I know exactly what you mean, mate. In times like this, I remember my old friends and look at my new ones with a new hope. Tis not a bad thing that we are forced to move on but to forget where we came from that is a death sentence of the spirit that no man can afford to lose.

I shall drink a toast with you commemorating your friend back home or long gone.
