[Someone was watching the lord from behind a tree. A certain long-nosed, long-haired someone whose face was discolored from healing bruises.

Snape watched him. His arm was still in a sling, but it was properly made, at least. He held his wand in his left hand.

Perhaps D'eon will notice someone watching him all creepy-like.]

[Ah yes, his spider senses were tingling D'eon noticed someone lurking in the shadows. He quickly turns his sword to Snape's general direction]

Who's there? Show yourself.

[Snape emerges from behind the trees, wand pointed at D'eon.]

Who are you?

[The unasked question is 'are you with the law? Are you looking for me?']

[D'eon raised a quizzical eyebrow at the wand. Why on earth was this boy pointing a stick at him? He lowered his sword slightly, not thinking the boy was a threat, he did look rather injured.]

[Well, if he was lowering his sword, then he had no intention of attacking. Foolish. Still, Snape lowered his wand, slightly.

Whether the man was with the law or not, he would surely know Snape. There was no point in lying.]

[Lucky for you Snape, D'eon isn't very fond of the blackberry system and has been completely left in the dark as to what's been going on. But since the boy, 'Severus' lowered his stick weapon, D'eon no longer perceived him as a threat and sheathed his sword]

May I ask what you're doing up at this hour? It's rather late and you look as though you could use some rest.

[D'eon smiles a bit, completely disregarding the boy's crass manners. He didn't expect much more from the English.]

Ah, the upcoming battle has me a bit on edge. I assumed that it would be better if I got a bit of practice in beforehand, as opposed to wallowing in my tent.

Well monsieur if there is anything I can do to help you please let me know. It is unwise to be prowling the forest at night with our enemies so close, especially injured and unarmed.
