[Edward wasn't much for making friends at the moment. He was below the radar with the Kinshin and they didn't really seem to pay much attention to him considering that he's not human and he's not entirely machine either. In fact, he was a confusing mix of both and a physical impossibility. He was out mostly to get away from the chaos that these monsters brought and he didn't like violence.
The fact that he was being ignored made him worry about those still left to fend for themselves but he couldn't kill any of them....nor bring himself to do it. The Kenshin moved around him as if he wasn't there even though he was scared himself.
Then an idea struck him. If they didn't know he was there, moving with them and finding their source could help everyone else. Now wasn't the time to freak out. It was time to act and the otherwise quite creature of invention powered by a living heart did make for an interesting combination.]
