[Jack was rarely a man of convention and yet here he was running through the snow and back toward the safe house. Behind him is a sled he's pulling and strapped to his legs, arms and chest were furs. The sled contained boxes of supplies that he's found and among them was vodka. How he managed to keep warm? He got drunk. It kept his blood from freezing.]

[His face was covered too but the snow sticking to the furs made him look unshapely and much like a yeti.]
