[Anyone passing the Bridge will see Elphaba looking out over the city, wearing an expression of fear, anxiety, and irritation. The Author had sent her to this strange, desolate place, but she'd done so without sending any of Elphaba's books with her, least of all, the Grimmerie. [NiGHTS has been flying for a while now. He looks pretty distressed, he couldn't find anyone and so he came back to where he started. But lo and behold, there's a woman with a greenish hue to her. Not that he's judging, he's just making an observation. Rushing towards her he grabs her hands.]

Do you know where we are?!

[She wasn't going to lie; when Nights approached her with speed and grabbed her hands, Elphaba could have sworn her soul left her body for a few seconds. Nights was unfamilliar to her, so she snatches her hands back and steps away]

NiGHTS...I'm sorry, but are you from the Manor? I don't want to be trapped in a nightmare for the rest of my life.

[When he mentions the Manor, her own expression softens. He didn't seem dangerous, and he didn't look all that old either]

Yes, I am - a nightmare? I don't think we're in one of those..just an empty city

[After a little hesitation, and seeing how cute anxious he looked, Elphaba offers her hand to him again, and smiles softly]

and my name's Elphaba - do you want to have a look round with me..?

[Upon hearing she was as well, he seemed to calm slightly. He took a hold of her hand and nodded at her. Looking still fairly anxious, but mostly to Elphaba for a sort of comfort.]

Nice to meet you Elphaba, that sounds good yeah. Maybe we'll find some of the others too?
