[Ryohei arrives at the manor at what seems to be around 4 in the morning.

He proceeds to yell at a volume that it can be heard through out the entire hallway extremely clearly and through the unknowingly turned on blackberry at an ear-shattering volume.]

"RYOHEI FIGHTO!!! ALRIGHT MY ULTIMATE POWER IS EMERGING N-"

[It's the incessant volume that keeps Light from fully appreciating just how compliant Ryohei is. Answers questions as asked. Would probably be easy to manipulate. Check, check. If only he were quiet and stupid--in other words, more Matsuda-like than Misa. As it stands, Ryohei falls so far beneath Light's tolerance for idiocy that he doubts Ryohei would even be capable of following instructions. Misa at least could adhere to what she was told to do. It'd probably be best if anything to plant ideas in Ryohei's mind rather than micromanage, for Light's own sanity.

The question of whatever the hell a "Lion Punchinist" is does not go asked. If it is literally what it sounds like, Light has no desire to deepen his inquiry, though it did give him one possible explanation for the origin of Ryohei's scar which is a pity because Light liked his explanation much better. At the very least, Light now has an answer to the rhetorical question, "Just how stupid does a person have to be to punch a lion?" Not that Light had asked such a question in the first place.]

Ryohei, then. [He smiles slightly, but can't bring himself to extend a meaningless pleasantry, because with an idiot like this? Saying something like, "It's a pleasure to meet you" would be interpreted as a sign of friendship. Light has no inclination of being associated with this moron.]

Why don't we [You] have this conversation at a normal volume?

[A name. Such a simple request, a reasonable one too, even though Light has absolutely no desire to give that information to Ryohei. With any luck, if Light never told Ryohei his name, he would never know it, which would mean the idiot would never find out where Light lives. The first name Light thinks to give in a sudden spark of admittedly juvenile thinking, is Near. But is there even a point to that? It would only serve to make Light look stupid if Ryohei called him "Near" or "Ryuzaki" in public. A fake name would be better then, if Light were to give a name at all.

Though, even that doesn't seem worth it in the end, as it's more than likely that eventually Ryohei would figure it out if someone were to call Light's name in the hallway in earshot of the idiot. ....Then again, maybe he wouldn't. Arguably it's more challenging trying to predict the thoughts of the inept.]

Asahi.

[Loud sigh. Light's not even trying to hide his annoyance any longer. His tone is pointed; the final result of extreme exasperation. His patience has finally run out.]

That's because I'm not in Naminori Junior High school. I graduated. [Something clearly Ryohei is going to have great difficulty with. Light God forbid this moron actually leave with a diploma in his hand. And no, he's not going to bother explaining that he didn't attend Namimori either. Further questions are the last thing Light wants at this point.]

[No] Thanks for the offer, but I will have to politely decline. Good luck finding other recruits.

[And with some relish, he ends the feed.]
