I feel like I owe everyone on my friends list an apology for ceasing to comment, but I also feel that that's what I hate about social networking, this strong compulsion I have to get obligated. On the other hand, isn't some level of obligation necessary to maintain relationships?
Well, whatever, but the point is: I am totally cheering every one of you on and I think you are all made of awesome.
Hey this rich text editing thing is kind of neat... Anyway, the not-a-doctor has expressed a lot of happiness with how I have done managing my blood sugar and stuff. Also I've lost a little weight, which is new. However, Dave's contract ended and unemployment isn't enough to cover all the people I was seeing, so I haven't been to the gym since I was sick a couple weeks ago.
It is so difficult to be determined about these things. (Which is why I pay a trainer. When Dave has a job at least.) Repeated theme of being extremely tired of living like this, though. I can change it.
Looking forward to spring, and summer. The summers here are lovely.
Second Life just launched the project I've been working on for five months. The final push got me pretty ill! (Note to self: will overwork if given opportunity.) I cautiously evaluate that it is a wild success. People are going nuts over it! Nuts I tell you! On the downside, I haven't done as much work in Blender as I need to be doing to further my skill.
I've been raiding Icecrown and it's been pretty rad. I'm getting so covered in epics that people are beginning to comment on it. Especially when I'm trying to do the random heroic daily with a lousy tank, and reduced to autoshot because otherwise AGGRO. Because our raid is not pro, I'm the only ranged, except when one of the trees is forced into boomkin because otherwise we are never getting bosses down. However, 10man content is meant to be accessible to reasonably non-scrublike players and so we're slowly working through it. This is the first time I've ever been in on end-game raiding and I'm enjoying it, even when we spend all night wiping on Rotface. We've also been doing 5 man Arena. We won WAY TOO MUCH tonight which means next week we will be facesmashed continuously.
It's cold tonight. Goal is to get to gym tomorrow (well, today I guess).
