Listening to an old Loveline with Carney Wilson (the fat one of Wilson Phillips), who as you may know had gastric bypass surgery and now is no longer fat.
Adam suggests to her that she had a bad genetic hand dealt to her and it is just kind of the way it is, and she says:
Yeah, sure, but I don't think of it that way. I think that thinking like that is just a way to refuse responsibility for yourself. It means you don't have to fix it.
