Summary: Christian enjoys a rainstorm. And Steve enjoys watching Christian enjoy the rain.
Christian's shirtless and barefoot, clad only in a pair of faded, torn jeans... jeans that Steve knows will be hell to get out of later. And he also knows full well that Christian will bitch at him about how they chafed but right now, watching him... Steve can't quite bring himself to care.
Because...
Because WOW. There are no other words Steve can find. Other than maybe beautiful. Which is exactly what this moment is. Completely and utterly pure and beautiful.
It's raining - fucking pouring down - and freezing cold with it. And Christian is just standing there; barefoot and topless, his arms outstretched and his wings fully spread. His head is tilted back, the rain pelting down on his face, sliding down his throat and he's laughing, at nothing, spinning on the spot.
And Steve physically cannot drag his eyes away from the play of the muscles in Christian back. Or the way the raindrops are glistening on his chest. Or just the sheer, pure, unabandoned joy that's wrapped around him.
Christian stops, grins at Steve and holds one hand out to him; Steve quickly closing the gap between them. Christian whispers 'hi' and pulls Steve against him, cups his face and his hands and kisses him.
