Follow Your Dream
So, I'm curled up watching Riley's movie White Air - and wondering if it's going to be as... uh... amazing as most of the ITBN films - and talking to spazzer_mctwich on AIM... I comment to her in amusement that Riley's character's boss is called Steve.
She asks me what the film's about, so I copy the synopsis from the back of the DVD which rambles on about:
Set in the world of X-treme snowboarding "White Air" tells the story of Alex Crow, a once-promising snowboarder who has lost his edge. To make ends meet he is working in Steve's local garage to help support his family. Though able to fly sky high, Alex's preoccupation with his family's problems have left him in a rut, estranged from his girlfriend Christie and unable to land his jumps. After losing several local Half Pipe competitions to his nemesis Jason, Alex loses faith in himself and totters on the verge of abandoning his dreams to seek financial stability. Only close friend and trainer Pete may have the answer for Alex to compete in one final, exciting pro-jam super pipe event.
And then, she points out that Christie's name can be shortened to 'Chris' which is something I honestly didn't notice *facepalm*
Then, we throw in the fact that Riley's rival is called Jason... And another boarder called Jeff has just appeared as well!

Speaking of all things incestuous, the guy who plays Pete looks really familiar so, naturally, I IMDB him to find out what else he's been in. Nope, nothing I would've recognised him from - obviously just has one of those faces. But then I notice, he's also been in Days Of Our Lives. And Angel.
