I don't want to make resolutions as such - I know I suck at keeping them but I do have a couple of trackable goals.
I want to read more books.
I only read 30 books in 2018.
I'm going to aim for 40 in 201N9. I've already listed out my picks for the
popsugar reading challenge and, yes, that's 50 but I'm hoping to make 40 of them. I'll be using that post and
goodreads to track my progress.
I want to write more.
I only posted 2 fics in 2018. Just scraped 1700 words.
I really miss writing. I've signed up for
getyourwordsout for 2019, with a target of 150k. I have a fanfiction folder on my laptop with 100 files in it - various degrees of completion with everything from just bullet point notes to almost-finished PWPs to WIPs of thousands of words.
I'd like to finish and post at least 10 fics this year (and I'm really hoping
I want to blog more
I miss doing this. Just opening up the post window and writing what comes to mind, catching up with you guys and your lives.
I've renewed my paid account on Dreamwidth and will poke at my icons over the coming weeks. I also really need to sort out my icons on LJ - not planning on giving them any more money so need to work out which 6 I really want to use.
I'm contemplating a 30-day challenge or something, but experience tells me I suck at remembering those.
I will keep stalking Raintown
What can I say? I love their music, it makes me happy and as long as they're doing gigs I can drive to, I will go.
As well as that:
I also have both physical therapy, counselling and CBT that will be starting in the first part of 2019, although I don't have dates for them yet.
I'd like to think about getting healthy again, losing all the weight I put back on etc but until we sought out current depression/comfort eating/inability to walk, I'm not even going to go there. I know I can do it again when I'm able to.
I will have paid off my small loan by the end of February, and my big loan by the end of September. I am also hoping to pay off one of my credit cards.
So that's how I'm hoping 2019 will shape up for me. Basically, just continuing to do more of the shit that I love to do
