Christmas Eve To-Do
Another day, another to-do list. It worked well on motivating me yesterday until I ran out of spoons so hopefully it will again today. Mind, it's already been a busy morning. I was in Tesco just after 6 this morning doing my Christmas shop, was home again by 7 and after putting it all away, went back to bed for a bit. Because holiday, damnit!
I didn't quite finish the kitchen yesterday, got one counter and the floor to do before making a start on tackling the living room. Having the list in clear steps definitely made it easier for me to manage my time. I'm fully aware I'm not going to get it all done today but it can continue on Wednesday.
First things first though - pain au chocolat for breakfast with Thor for company
[edit 13:15] you know it's a bad pain day when I've got the vacuum cleaner in one hand and a crutch in the other. Luckily, I'm still at a point where I can laugh at myself!
Taking a break for lunch and some Midnight Texas
[edit 14:30] All the crap is picked up off the living room floor and that in and of itself makes me feel better. If I achieve nothing else today, I'll be happy. Although I'd really like to get it vacuumed and clean my coffee table off. Taking another rest and then we'll see how it goes :)

- dishes - wash, dry, put away
- last counter - clear and wipe down
- vacuum kitchen floor and hall way
- pick up stuff on living room floor
- empty living room bin
- clear off and wipe down coffee table
- sort out to-read pile
- clear piles off stuff out the chair and couch
- clear off and wipe down desk
- vacuum living room
