The Sunday Wibble-a-thon

My body still hates me. I'd just recovered from Collectormania last weekend when I toddled up to Manchester on Friday to see Raintown. It was a nightmare drive - took me something like three and a half hours in stop-start traffic to do 80odd miles. I was hurting when I got there.

There were a few tables and chairs at the sides of the venue, so I grabbed one and sat down. Fully intending on being a good hurting llama. I sat for the support act, Robbie Kavanagh. Quite liked him. Accidentally heckled him. Must get his CD.

Raintown... well, I managed to sit for like half the intro and I was on my feet. Me, Gwen and George ignoring the fact everyone else was being boring and sitting. We were on our feet, front stage centre, dancing and rocking out.
I mean I was with my sticks but both P&C were frowning at me. (And I had been sitting ith them in the chippy like half hour earlier taking painkillers cos my knees hurt so, um...) To be fair, I only managed to stay up for maybe 4 songs? And then I had to get George to grab a chair. Which stayed at front centre and I was chair dancing. Their music just isn't... sit still and listen, y'know?

They LOVED the Superman bib I got for Alba-Rose. Paul even took a wee video and made me say hi to the camera so it's probably gonna be on the Manchester vlog *headdesk* I spent a lovely couple of hours with them both pre and post gig. I kinda love those two... can't wait for Brighton!

I have so many gig flails I could just ramble about but at the same time, I don't want to sound like one of those fans. It's just that they're my friends as well, y'know?
We have the kind of friendship where I sit with Claire and we're talking about Paul's ass *giggles*

So yeah, this weekend is legs up and rest. Prescription opiates are my friend. I think my plan for today will basically involve catching up on the last couple of episodes of NCIS, LA and NO (and my flist!). And Netflix thinks I should watch a 2015 Lucas Till movie called The Curse Of Drowners Cove. Kavan Smith's new Hallmark movie premiered last night so hopefully, I'll be able to acquire that soon too! :D
OH, and I need to finish the edits to my
stargate_summer fic!

First things first though, breakfast and
