Oooh a torture chamber
It's been a pretty positive day.
Work was... y'know, it was work but it behaved. I got my emails down to under 90, I cleared a page or so of processing queries, I solved an on-going utility company issue, I fixed a 17-month-old overpayment. No one was shouting or screaming for anything and a couple of people even thanked me for my help. I had some nice email chats with
charlies_dragon and I had pretty Sheppard/Mitchell images dancing around my head
I went for a walk after work this evening, nothing special, just over a mile and a quarter, around the block, up the hill and through the graveyard, then back to the flat. The first walk for the sake of walking that I'd been on since I tore the ligament in my knee in March. My knee is telling me right now - and for the last couple hours - that it's ouchie and not happy with me but it's not in a rebellious kinda way, just in the 'what did we just do?' kind. It felt good to just... walk. :)
Food wise I had one of those meals where it's the end of the week and I'm just using up random ingredients that are left over in the fridge. I had cheesy scrambled egg with hot dogs and steamed mixed veg. Yeah, I know but it was pretty tasty actually.
My evening has been pretty chilled. I didn't get any more of the
stargate_summer fic written but I did catch up on Lucifer and watch a couple of episodes of Gotham. Nearly finished S1 so I need to get myself a copy of S2. I'm finishing up sitting in bed, typing this up and reading my book. Soon there will be sleep and then tomorrow is Friday \o/
