I've had one of those mornings when I haven't known what to do with myself. I know my flat needs tidying but at the same time I needed to just... well, not do anything other than have ME time, curled up and taking care of me.
In the end, me time won. I spent a few hours playing Candy Crush and various clones, listening to music, colouring in and trying (and deleting) some pilot episodes of tv shows. I deleted quite a few so decided to settle down on some Killjoys.
I watched an episode, then sorted out my to-read pile because there was only one book left on it. It now looks like:
Neil Gaiman - American Gods (a re-read, just because)
Mark Anthony - Beyond The Pale (borrowed from Dragon)
Belinda Jones - Cafe Tropicana
Lorraine Adams - The Room & The Chair
Joan Aiken - The Wolves Of Willoughby Chase
Kelley Armstong - Personal Demon
Paul Hoffman - The Left Hand Of God
Louisa May Alcott - Little Women
Kelley Armstrong - Living With The Dead
LA Banks - Minion
I'm currently reading Mary Roach: Stiff - The Curious Lives Of Human Cadavers
Right now, I'm watching another episode of Killjoys and eating my lunch
Once I've eaten, I'm going to take the recycling out and then take a trash bag round the flat, throw out everything that needs throwing out and actually take it down to the dumpsters.
I also want to get the washing up done.
If that's all I achieve today then I will be very pleased :)
It's all so utterly thrilling, I know. How are you coping with the exitement that is my life?
