I have just made the most amazing - even if I do say so myself - sweet & sour chicken stifry:
Cooked the chicken with onion, garlic, mushroom and ginger.
While that was cooking mixed together chopped tomatoes, chopped pineapple in juice, honey, white wine vingear and tomatoe puree. When the chicken was about half-cooked, I added that to the wok and let it bubble away.
Once the chicken was mostly cooked, I added the veg: cabbage, carrot, broccoli, beansprouts, baby corn and cashew nuts. And when that was hot all the way through, rice noodles.
Om nom nom nom NOM
AND as if all that wasn't enough - I managed a trip to the library, and to the grocery store. It almost killed me but and I was so exhausted you'd think I'd run a marathon. I kinda flopped down dead for a couple of hours when I got back home and dear God is my knee supposed to swell up that much? My love for codeine - let me show you it!
I watched the latest episode of The Messengers - my love for that little show is immense and I'm gutted it's been cancelled. But relieved that CW are at least going to show it's whole season. I kinda love apocalypse/end of the world stuff and I loved the seals of hell storyline in SPN. Plus Erin is cute as a button. Favourite character though has to be preacher-boy Joshua. That could change in two weeks though. *cough* Riley's first episode! *cough*
I started watching iZombie, seen the first two episodes and fell in love. I have the rest of the aired episodes downloading as we speak. It's like Tru Calling meets zombies. Am I supposed to find Liv cute? Because she kinda is.
I started watching - and deleted again - The Last Man On Earth, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Parks & Recreation.
So I gave up and watched a little bit of SG1 LOL. I watched 8x05 Icon. And no, really, how is Jack even letting Daniel out of bed on his own, let alone offworld. I kinda loved though how Daniel was SOOO injured, yet had no scars. And despite being trapped off-world on a farm in the middle of nowhere slap bang in tbe middle of a civil war for what 6 weeks?, he was still able to shave perfectly *snort* There were a few moments of very shallow
The icing on the cake is the fact that while watching, I made words happen. I've written for the first time in like 6 weeks.
I fully outlined the next scene of the shapeshifter fic.
And then I wrote a good 500 words of a completely unrelated Jack/Daniel PWP.
So yes, it's been a productive day. My knee is killing me so I'm thinking after a couple episodes of Perception there could be a nice soak in a hot bubble bath to calm it down. Put some music on, read a book... yup, sounds good to me.
Hope you've had as good a Saturday as me! :)
