More bored than vry bored thing
Unemployment and Cassie really really don't get on. At all. I've been out of work now since Christmas Eve, so not even two weeks and I'm going completely and utterly crazy - so so so bloody bored.
How bored?
Bored to the point where yesterday, I hoovered. And dusted. And polished. That's how bored. belishar alsmost had a heart attack when she came around yesterday and saw the non-state my bedroom was in. Hell, so did I.
I've been doing things like going for a walk in the town park - just to get myself out of the bloody house. Mind, I've also found out how much I've missed just scrall-arsing around the park... it really is a great place to go for a walk. I can still remember my way around and it was like 'oh i remember when i did this...' and 'oh yeah, we always used to come here' so it was a nice trip around memory lane. Or park, depending on how you look at it LOL
And people... other people who happen to be Dog Walking (very popular thing to do in the park) always take the time to smile and say 'Good Morning' which is very cool, really.
So bored and looking for things to do - which is definitely helping me with the 'find a new hobby for 2006' and i decided on penpalling. I always used to penpal when I was a teen but got out of it a few years ago when I moved in with Paul. So, the other day I joined a few LJ communities like _longletterpals, alt_penpals_uk and bday_packages with the aim of finding some new penpals. I also signed up at http://postcrossing.com which seems like it could be a fun venture.

natzini: I received your letter today, thank you very much :D Made a very happy Cassie when there was post for her this morning that wasn't a bill *laugh* Will make a start on yours this afternoon when I get back to town.
And damn do I have a shopping list... so much shit that I have to get:
Think thats all... though, knowing my luck I'll get half-way home and think of something that I've forgotten - I always do LOL
