Happy Friday
Happy Friday, people of the interwebs. I hope you all had a good Christmas, if you celebrated, and a nice Thursday if you didn't. I'm spending the festive period with my mother and have so far we have managed like 36 hours without killing each other!
I got my saucepans and am very excited about them. I got some new slippers, and new trainers, and also got a box of Walnut Whip which is like a silly Christmas tradition.
I got mum the Outlander books she was missing and a couple of Wordsearch books.
Santa got the pair of us a quiz book.
The morning was spent doing a couple of quizzes and listening to Christmas music. Dinner was chicken wrapped in mozarella and bacon, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli, and very tasty it was. The afternoon involve Trivial Pursuit and Hidden Object games, with bonus Jurassic Park on TV before the Doctor Who Christmas special.
Mum then watched Coronation Street and Eastenders, while I took advantage of her bath and had a nice soak reading Security by Mandy Baggott before snuggling down in bed and watching Strange Empire.
It was a successful Christmas :)
Today is going to be a nice lazy day. I'm curled up on the couch, listening to Duran Duran and playing around with my Amazon recommendations. I think there's some ER in my future too
