On The Move
A third large car load of stuff moved to my mum's house this weekend - now all my books, my DVDs, my computer games and most of my clothes and CDs are in Telford, not St Neots. The house is starting to look... very very empty wheras that one little room back at mum's is starting to look very full!
Things are getting organised there though. I've ordered my wardrobe and chest of drawers - they're being delivered on the 21st so I can get sorting through my clothes and paperwork etc to go in there. The TV is ordered and will be ready for me to collect from Currys.
And very importantly are the nice men from SKY TV who are coming on the 24th to install that for me.
My telephone line is operational and the phone is plugged in. My internet is ordered so the line will be transferred as of the 2nd when I move. Although it will take approx 10 days for that to get set up... which means 10 whole days in Telford without my net access...
Well, technically without broadband since AOL are going to give me freephone dial up access while they're busy moving my broadband blah type stuff. But still... dial up?
Just the thought of it makes me feel physically sick!
Now 10 days without the net is a very scary thought indeed - although it does give me plenty of time to get things organised. And to get some good studying time in.
I'm also wanting to put new layouts up both here and for a couple fanlistings so I suppose it does take away the distraction of forums and fanfiction and chatting to people online...
and Cassie is very easily distracted LMFAO!
