It's A Crazy Life
I'm a bad bad llama - that's what I am. And oh am I paying the price for it now. But it was more than worth it.
Friday night was Bryan Adams at the Ricoh Arena. Paul and I had our disabled tickets... but see, these tickets just said on them 'standing ticket' but we had a piece of paper from Ricoh Box Office to allow us entry to the disabled area. We got there and Paul said to me to do what my ticket said. I initally didn't want to; want to sit with him. But he just said 'get the fuck down the front'
So I did
Fourth fucking row centre for Bryan Adams. I was in fangirl heaven :D WOW. So yeah the being on my feet for like 6 hours wasn't quite so good. My hips and knees are killing me - I've been in bed for two days but fuck... more than worth it.
But the being able to see and actually touching Bryan during The Perfect Line and the ohsofuckingnearly getting Mickey's drumstick and just everything about being that close was... well fucking perfect. He actually mixed his setlist up a little but it was still the usual amazing hitlist it always is. All my favourites as ever - 18 Til I Die, Run To You, Summer Of 69, Back To You, Cuts Like A Knife, The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You
But yeah, as I said that was Friday night. It's now Sunday lunchtime and I'm still in bed and still in agony.
So I had the 'bright' idea that I would empty my inbox, that I would add every pending member to every fanlisting. Turned out to be much too much of an ambitious project, but I made a bloody good crack at it, whittling it down to there's now only like 50 emails in my box.
