I can do that!
I had a meeting with my director on Friday about the status of my accounts, to answer any questions about open balances and to update him with any queries I'm working through. To say I was nervous would be an understatement, I swear when I sat down I was shaking.
Once we started talking though, I was fine, and we went through the report, made some notes, I added stuff to my to-do list and that was that.
This morning, I got some feedback from my manager. Apparently the finance director was really really impressed with me, with my confidence, my conciseness and my knowledge of my accounts.
... maybe this month end stuff isn't going to be TOO scary after all?!
