That was the week that was

I swear I've done more than just cook this week *laughs* I've basically spent the week running around like a blue ass fly going to interviews left right and centre.

Tuesday I had two interviews. One for a Sales Admin at a telecommunications company, one for an Office Manager for a construction company.
I've not heard anything back from the telecomms company.
The construction firm initially offered me the contract, based on me meeting the second partner, John, and an appointment was made for Thursday.

Wednesday wasn't a good day, and I kinda spent it curled up watching lots of TV. *shrugs* There was family issues and I was made to feel like shit. Thanks mum, thanks Aunt R.

Thursday was another mad day. I was woken up by my phone ringing, agency calling telling me I'd got an interview for a Purchase Ledger Clerk at an egg production plant. And it was in like an hour and a half. Talk about a speedy suited, booted, researched and out of the house.
Then I had a registration at an agency in Wolverhampton, who sent my CV off to two clients. And then I went back to the construction company but the second partner withdrew the provisional offer because he felt I didn't have enough [read: any] construction experience.

Yesterday I went up to Manchester to meet up with
whiskyinmind and
tortuousphoenix to see Brian Nutter at Band On The Wall. Had a slightly traumatic drive up that involved some idiot going into the back of me, but at slow speed and me and Lotte are ok. My elbows, wrists and shoulders are achy and Lotte has a crack in her bumper but we're fine.
The gig was awesome. Absolutely diddy, but so much fun and Brian is made of love.

Tomorrow I'm off into Birmingham to meet up with
charlies_dragon to see Brian Nutter again at The Asylum. I'm also over the moon that Gary Quinn (the singer I've been telling you guys about for weeks!) is opening for him
*twirls and bounces*

In utter randomness, Bob! has decided he really wants to write more Christian Kane/Danneel Harris/Riley Smith. Which I agree would be pretty. Has he given me any actual ideas? No, of course he hasn't *headdesk*
