Yesterday reminded me how much I hate both shopping and shopping malls *shudders* Especially shopping for clothing. I swear, I spent three hours walking around Telford shopping centre - can I have my morning back?
Although, to be fair it was a very successful trip so that was good, at least.
The main thing on yesterday's agenda was finding a new suit and seriously it took like 6 shops to find one. In fact, I'd given up and was cutting through BHS on my way back to Lotte when I saw a nice one in Wallis that was in the sale. It fit really well and wasn't ridiculously expensive, so win.
I confused the sales clerk at the check out though: the trousers were an 18, the jacket a 16 and the top a 14. Yet that was what it took to get it to fit.
Yet, stupidly the jeans I'm currently wearing are from the same shop and are a 16 and need a belt to stay up. The joys of women's clothing sizes *snort*
I also managed to get all of
weaselett's Christmas presents and found the last of what I'm wanting to buy my mum.
I was a naughty girl in ASDA though - bought myself and mum breakfast in the cafe... bacon, sausage, beans, scrambled eggs, fried bread. SO good. So so good. Om nom nom! :D
I rounded the day off with a trip to Kwik Fit to get Lotte looked at. She's had an oil top-up, passenger headlight replaced, courtesy light lightbulb replaced and a winter check up so she's all ready for winter.
My bank balance, however, is now a little sadly. Today, I want to do nothing more than cook and curl up with a book or a movie.
