Well would you look at that...

I genuinely, since childhood, never thought I'd reach 30 - I've been saying since I was about 8 that I wasn't going to live past 30 - so the fact that today is my 31st birthday is quite the shock to the system. Throw in the 'omg I'm over 30' factor and it's a weird feeling. I do feel a bit old. Turning 31 was definitely harder than 30. I think I'm actually an adult at this age, or something. There's also the screaming feeling that I should have accomplished something by now, but I'm ignoring that and focusing on the positive

I had a long weekend up at weaselett's. Drove up Thursday evening and came back yesterday afternoon.

We were very growed up on Friday and went to Blackpool Zoo. Despite the fact it pissed down basically all day and we ended up very soggy, it was great fun. Even if I wasn't allowed to bring home a lion, or a tiger, or a llama, or a giraffe, or a gorilla, or an oran-u-tan or a heffalump *pouts*

The rest of the weekend was spent in typical fashion, curled up watching stuffs. We finished Alcatraz, started watching Continuum - but sadly I lost interest mid 1x04, White Collar and Leverage. I've also now seen the first 4 episodes of Stargate SG1 and am in love. Especially in love with Sam Carter - although that's probably just the Amanda Tapping. I prefer the Helen Magnus look on her though.
Many doritos, carrots, cucumbers and maltesers were nommed. I spent lots of time snuggling not only Weasel but the myriad of puppies and kitties too.
