Revenge Of The Sith!

Version 25 featuring one of my favourite actors, Mr Ewan McGregor. Who is, as it says just up there; incredbly talented and utterly gorgeous. Been a fan of him for... since he was Julien in Scarlet and Black, way way back in the early 90s. Loved him in Trainspotting, Shallow Grave, The Pillow Book, Brassed Off, A Life Less Ordinary, Velvet Goldmine, Little Voice, Rogue Trader, Eye Of The Beholder, Moulin Rouge, Down With Love, Big Fish, Young Adam, Robots, Valiant, Long Way Round and of course we can't forget Star Wars!
Which brings me quite nicely to the main topic of todays random babbling; Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith which was of course released in the cinemas on the 19th. I've seen it twice already - Thursday afternoon, first showing at Huntingdon, and then again yesterday morning - and fuckdamnwow its just plain amazing. The fight scenes had me on the edge of my seat and even though you know what was going to happen, I was still calling out to the screen and crying and laughing and cheering - it was great. I cried when the Jedi cull started, and I really really cried when Anakin slayed the younglings and I was chewing my nails during the Anakin/Obi-Wan lightsaber battles and.... oh Obi-Wan! The flash of the smile; there was that cheekiness that Padawan Obi had in Phantom Menace.
I got well excited at the end though; thought we were gonna see Qui-Gon again, but no...
So now I'm itching to go back and read Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan slash... wow that takes me back. It was like my second online fandom
