Long time no see

I have realised it has been a while since I have updated you. For this I apologise. I has been a busy llama in the last few days.
Friday, after the hoohah with my benefits I started applying for jobs. I've applied for... shitloads since then. I have an interview on Thursday.
Friday evening I went to view a place - furnished, ground-floor, en-suite double room in a house share with patio doors opening onto the garden.
Saturday, I got a phonecall asking me to move in on September 1st. I accepted. Today I started packing. I've packed up the kitchen and bathroom and made headway into packing my room up. Two suitcases are full with underwear, t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, pjs, shorts, swimmers.
I can't start packing up books/CDs/DVDs yet because I need to measure the room to see what other bits of my furniture will fit.
Tomorrow I'm going to the job centre to sign on, then the council offices to start my housing benefit claim and then the something-or-other-office for my social fund loan. I'm also going shopping to buy non-perishables and some kitchen implements I don't seem to have anymore.
Sunday I drove down to charlies_dragon's house and then we went to Crawley to see Last Letter Read. I do love those boys. They were playing at Crawley Laserhub band night. We hung out with them for a bit of the evening but... Honestly, it was not a fab night.
The first two bands were shit, so we uhhh went and sat in Lotte in the carpark.
LLR were awesome but the venue PA was appalling and the mics kept dropping out. Could barely hear Rob at all. But, as I said to him, couple years ago, that would have thrown him completely but he carried on.
They also found out that night that they've got an opening slot for a band called Fenix TX in Portsmouth on October 19. I have no idea who that is but they were all over the moon. So yes, I'm going to that gig too. Heh.
I think things may be starting to look up, y'know.
I have four cons coming up - Roadhouse, Asylum 5, The Vampire Ball and Asylum 6
I've met a beautiful young lady who I really like and who likes me back.
I move house in 8 days
I start university in 5 weeks.
Now all I need is one of this million jobs to come through and I'm damn well sorted
*makes happy noises*
For now though, I shall continue watching CSI (I'm on 5x08!) and leave you with
